Drift, Apart. To an abrupt end?

Baby, we're moving further and further apart as days go by. Sometimes, i thought 'we'd love each other more, as each day passes.' But why is it that its so hard for me to communicate with you nowadays? Hiding things from me, lying to me. Both of us are at fault here, im not just saying you. Will we be as close as we used to? I really do love you, with all my heart. You are special, something that stands out. You've changed, i've changed. We both did change. Be it good or bad. You're leaving soon. I love you, come back fast. :* Love you, makmak. Sleeptight baby! :)

Pulau Ubin Trip.

Me and my girlfriend have been planning a pulau ubin trip for ages, and im glad we finally have a chance to go there. So today, i'll be talking about my trip to pulau ubin.
 

On the first of May, Saturday, me and my girlfriend woke up at an estimate of 10am. We hurriedly did the final packing and checked if we took everything. Her mother then sent us to changi interchange, where we could take boats to pulau ubin. It was feeling hot, and had no sign of rain that day. We took a ferry, costing $2.50 per person for a 15 minute boat ride to the nearby village of singapore, pulau ubin. It wasn't very far from Singapore, the scenery on the boat was beautiful.

In a short 15 minutes, we reached Pulau Ubin and were ready to embark on a beautiful journey through the small island and nature retreat of Pulau Ubin. Pulau Ubin is very different from Singapore, It portrays Singapore in the early and late 1990's, probably our parents generation. Everyone in pulau ubin still live in kampongs!


And there me and my girlfriend were there, Pulau Ubin. Having the early afternoon sun being lenient on us, as its sun-rays shorne through the clouds. Upon reaching Pulau Ubin, we took a van which costs $6 to reach our resort, celestial resort.
We then checked in and left some of the heavier stuff at the resort, taking only the necessary equipments for biking, and checked out the vincity. We then walked back to the main village of Pulau Ubin and had a seafood fried rice for lunch! It was absoulutely delicious, Pulau Ubin is really famour for their seafood.
After having a light lunch, me and my girlfriend decided to rent bikes and travel pulau ubin as there were no public transport, and expensieve for a guided tour. We rented our bikes, $8 per person for 1 whole day!
Next, we travelled to Wet land, a feature of Pulau Ubin. It is where many creatures such as the mudskipper, mud lobster and many more live! It was a really beautiful place, nothing you can find in Singapore!

It was quite sad that by the time me and my girlfriend got there, probable 3 or 4 pm in the afternoon, it was already high tide and we could not enjoy the magnifience of wet land and see the creatures living in the sea, oh well there is always next time.
We then rode our bikes as fast as we could, as we wanted to cover the whole island before sun down! It was hot and we needed to drink loads of water or else we would suffer from dehydration, and there were many tough conditions such as, rocky roads and dirty paths. One time, we even had to get off our bikes and push it up hill! But it was all worth it, when we reached the top of the bike mountain, the view was magnificent, it was beautiful!

We rode back to our resort after upscaling the 'bike mountain', we boiled water and had a nice short rest, before travelling out again! After having a nice drink of cold water and resting, we headed out again. We rode our bikes. By around 6pm, we headed to the main village to return our bicycles. We shopped nearby for some snacks which we could eat in the night and aimed to head back to the resort before night fall as there were no street lights. Although it was a tough and long walk, we made it back before nightfall and had a nice, long, refreshing shower! Me and my girlfriend talked throughout the night as we ate tidbits and watched movies!
The next morning, we woke up at 8am, going to the nearby hornbill restaurant for breakfast. Breakfast consisted of local food, much similar to singapore. After our breakfast, we packed up, had a short nap and checked out.
We then on our journey home. We walked out of the resort, the sun was shining down heavily. It was hot and we forgot to bring water. After walking for approximately 20 minutes, a nice van driver offered to send us back. We kindly accepted his offer. The aircon was absoulutely refreshing! And we reached the main vaillage in 5 minutes!
Before we knew it, we were on the ferry back to Singapore.

I had loads of fun on that small island of Pulau Ubin, and i realized how fortunate we are to live in upgraded Singapore, while people on Pulau Ubin dont even have air-condition or high rise flats and shopping centers. Having a simple bicycle there is considered a luxury, and yet in Singapore we are complaining about the public transport and asking for cars. Sometimes even reluctant to take cabs. And yet thinking, we were once like that? Its so hard to imagine. People on Pulau Ubin are really friendly as well, as it is a rural environment and much differnt from ours here. Many villagers know each other, with a small population of 45 families living there. It made me realized how we shouldnt take things for granted as there are people who dont have what we have. It was overall a really new and thrilling experience for me.

Ice creammmmmmmm, He called correctly. :( I miss baby so much. So angry at him today, dont know why suddenly so guailan. :@:@ He came to find me and Dawn.TZYYYYY, at Plaza Sing today. And now he wants to test me. :@ Im going to call his handphone. I just hope that im on time yoz. Break? Dont break? LOL!!! I still love him, no matter what. :) BECAUSE, HE IS MY BABY. I want to marry him, no matter what people say, puppy love? Maybe, but everything needs time. Through time, it will become true love. Time, its really important. Make use of it. Time is a judgement of everything, time will prove our love. :) You really changed me alot, and i can see the effort you put in. Deleted previous post, cos' idkkkkkkkk? LOL! My blog is always dying. Lets see how much i'll post. :x
